LANKIDZ was born as an idea of its owner Jaime Chang who saw the rapid growth of the Spanish Language in the U.S. as an opportunity for developing a business in which he could share his language with not only the U.S. population but with people from all over the world.
LANKIDZ is the result of combining the words : LANGUAGES + KIDS
We use the “Flash Cards Model” because we think it’s the easiest way for a children to learn words when they are in a speech development stage, besides we think that it is a perfect way for parents and children to share time and in this case learn words from a different language together.
We have selected and grouped words that we consider would create strong basis of the language into a person with Non-Hispanic Background and we came up with the following categories:
• Numbers
• Vowels and Consonants (A,B,C)
• Animals
• Family Members
• Body parts
• Colors
• Every Day Phrases
• Fruits and Vegetables
• Common Objects
• Sports
LANKDIZ has at least 30 different items for each category so that the final user (Parents-Children) can learn the very basics of the language with words that could be used on the day to day life.
Pick one of your child’s favorite stuff animal or animated figure and play pretend. Pretend the figure is wondering what is in the card that way the child and you can retell what the card says.
